My earlyest foray into electronic music was when my mother bought me a Casio VL-Tone Keyboard in the 80's. It had a built in 99 note sequencer and about six different voices. The violin sounded more like a chainsaw ripping through tin, but that little sequencer made it all worth while. Things are a little more sofisticated these days with Roland, Yamaha and M-Audio equipment, not to mention faster computers, better software and the internet. It will be interesting to see what comes next (besides the iPad). How about Glove instruments
